At Tesoro Riccio, we believe breeding is not a commercial transaction, but a dedicated act of preservation. We raise only one to two litters per year, allocating 100% of our lifestyle, time, and heart to the development of these noble Italian water dogs.
Our upcoming litter, planned for December 2026, represents a historic milestone. This will be our beloved dam Eliana's second and absolute final litter, God willing. We are selecting families who see themselves not merely as dog owners, but as guardians of this ancient breed.
Because we prioritize puppy-to-family lifestyle compatibility through rigorous testing, we open our waiting list early to secure reservations.
Only 6 to 8 precious puppies are expected. Due to high interest and limited frequency, reservations are established on a first-come, first-served basis prior to birth.
We believe a beautiful companion must first be a healthy companion. 100% of our breeding parents undergo rigorous certified screenings for hip dysplasia, elbow structures, cardiac health, eye clearances, and genetic diseases (JE and LSD). Our records are public and verifiable.

Eliana was selected for her exceptional drive, biological structure, and gentle character. She exhibits the classic water-dog focus, retrieving with soft-mouthed precision, and is a beloved family member who is extremely friendly with children and other animals.

My journey began out of a pure love for the Lagotto's intelligence and loving shaggy charm. Today, my mission is to maintain the highest standard of health, structure, and character. Every puppy is born and raised in my home, surrounded by love, and socialized using scientific early neurological stimulation protocols.
To me, these puppies are not products. They are heritage companions, and I treat every reservation as a support covenant to help maintain this noble breed for future generations.
